The Space is Brighton’s unique monthly arts and media event. We bring together the creative community with special guest interviews. Our 12th August event is presented by Briggy Smale with appearances from leading writer and actor Mark Gatiss, along with Academy Award nominated visual effects supervisor, Paul Franklin. Plus, to mark eighty years since the birth of television drama writer Terry Nation, meet his most famous creations, the Daleks!

Meet an Oscar winning film editor and a BBC Radio broadcaster

Leading film editor Anne V Coates and BBC Radio 4 newsreader and announcer Kathy Clugston will appear at The Space on Wednesday 1st September. There’ll be a chance to see legendary film composer John Barry at a Belgium based concert, among other prizes in the raffle.
